New Roofs & Roof Replacements

A new roof is a big decision. We make it straightforward — quality materials, honest advice, and a finish that lasts for decades.

There comes a point where patching a tired roof stops making sense. If your tiles are crumbling, the felt is perished, or you're chasing leaks every winter, a full re-roof can be the more sensible spend. We strip the old roof right back, check the timbers, and rebuild it with new felt, battens and a covering that's built to last.

We install new roofs on extensions and new builds, and replace old ones on homes across Hampshire and Surrey. You'll get a clear written quote before any work starts, and we'll talk you through the choice between tile and slate in plain English. No jargon, no pressure — just a roof done properly, first time.

What We Do

What We Do

New roof installations

From the first rafter to the last ridge tile, we build new roofs for extensions, garages and new-build homes.

Full roof replacements and re-roofs

When repairs aren't enough, we strip the old roof back to the timbers and start fresh with new felt, battens and tiles.

Pitched roofing

The standard British roof shape — we build and renew pitched roofs in tile and slate, sized to shed water properly.

Tiled roofing (concrete and clay)

Concrete tiles are tough and affordable; clay tiles are lighter and full of character. We'll help you pick what suits your home.

Slate roofing (natural and fibre)

Natural Welsh slate can outlast the house; fibre slate is a lighter, lower-cost alternative that still looks the part.

Roof felt and breathable membrane replacement

Under the tiles, a breathable membrane sheds water and lets the roof breathe. We renew it on every re-roof.

Roof insulation

With the roof stripped, it's the perfect time to top up your insulation — a warmer home and lower heating bills.

Roof ventilation

Roofs need to breathe. We fit the right ventilation to stop condensation rotting the timbers from within.

FAQs

Questions We Get Asked

It depends on the size and shape of the roof, but a typical semi-detached house takes around a week to ten days. We strip, repair any timbers, lay new felt and battens, then tile or slate. We'll give you a realistic timeframe in your written quote and keep you updated as we go.
