Roofer in Basingstoke

Basingstoke is a big town with a lot of roofs, and we look after a fair few of them. Much of the housing here went up in the 1960s and 70s, with concrete-tiled roofs that are now reaching the age where re-roofing starts to make sense. Add in the many flat-roofed garages and extensions scattered across the estates, and the older Victorian streets nearer the town centre, and there's a real range of work to be done.

We handle roof repairs, full re-roofs, flat roofing, chimneys and guttering across Basingstoke. On the older estates it's often slipped tiles and tired ridge mortar; on the period streets it's chimney stacks and lead flashing; and the flat-roofed garages that come with so many homes here are a steady stream of replacements and repairs. Whatever the era of your house, we'll tell you straight what it needs.

Basingstoke's 1960s and 70s estates are a big part of what we see. Their concrete-tiled roofs are decades old now, and that's the point where ridge mortar fails, tiles crack and slip, and the felt underneath starts to perish. A lot of our work here is honest re-roofs — stripping back, checking the timbers, and rebuilding with new felt, battens and tiles that will see the house right for decades.

The flat-roofed garages and extensions across the estates are the other common call — old felt that's cracked and pooled, ready for a modern EPDM or felt system. And on the Victorian streets near the centre, it's chimneys and slate that need the attention. Wherever you are in Basingstoke, we'll come out and give you a clear picture of what your roof's got left.
