Roofer in Aldershot

Aldershot has a lot of Victorian terraced housing, much of it with slate roofs and chimney stacks that have been up for well over a century. That makes for a steady run of slipped slates, chimney repointing and lead flashing work — the kind of older-roof repairs we do week in, week out. Alongside the terraces there are post-war and newer estates bringing their own jobs.

We cover roof repairs, re-roofs, flat roofs, chimneys, leadwork and guttering across Aldershot. On the Victorian terraces it's slates and stacks; on the newer estates it's ridge, verge and flat-roof work; and the flat-roofed rear extensions behind so many terraced rows are a common call for a modern replacement. Whatever your part of Aldershot, we'll tell you straight what your roof needs.

Aldershot's Victorian terraces are the heart of the work here. Their slate roofs are durable but ageing — slates slip and crack, the chimney stacks that line the rows need repointing and reflashing, and the lead flashing where the roof meets walls and stacks is often original and ready for renewal. It's careful, methodical work, and we match slates so a repair blends in.

The post-war and newer estates bring ridge and verge mortar repairs, the occasional slipped tile, and flat-roofed garages and extensions that have reached the end of their felt. Behind the terraces, the flat-roofed rear extensions are the other regular job — ready for a modern EPDM or felt system that lasts.
